ElectricalTestLabTechnician , you will be responsible for performing variouselectricaltests to evaluate the performance and functionality of our products. You will work closely with our engineers and other technicians to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards. Responsibilities
Performelectricaltests on battery products and associatedelectrical/electronic components and recordtestdata accurately
Troubleshoot and repairelectricalequipment and systems
Calibrate and maintaintestequipment and tools
Collaborate with engineers to develop and improvetestprocedures
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
Provide technical support to other teams within the organization
Assist in the design and implementation of newtestsetups and systems
Lead teams for continuous improvement and promote regular team meetings by using the systems tools
Provide and be responsible for support of product engineering as defined by TR's and EFT's which include:testsetup, data collection and summary oftestdata
Qualifications
High school diploma plus two years of specialized vocational school training inelectrical, electronics, or related technical field equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience inelectricaltesting or a similar role
Strong knowledge ofelectricaland/or electronictestlabenvironment
Minimum of 1 year of experience in battery system and componenttesting, battery chargers and ancillary devices
Proficient with computers, software, and programming of automotivetestequipment
Mechanically inclined with the ability to assemble specializedtestfixtures for qualification and acceptancetesting of batteries andelectricalequipment
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
Proficiency in readingelectricalschematics and technical drawings
Familiarity with basic chemistry
Knowledge of programming automatedtestsystems (Digatron, Bitorde, Enechron)
Knowledge ofelectrical, chemical, and mechanical requirements fortesting battery systems with primary emphasis on nickel cadmium, vented and maintenance free assemblies
Solid understanding of requirements for SA9100, FAA repair station regulations, and safety issues involved with handling potassium hydroxide, high powered currents, and heavy equipment
