Provides day to day care and supervision of Medical Assistants in a clinical setting at our main hospital campus. The Medical Assistant provides direct professional medical care to patients and also serves as a leader and professional role model to department members at all times. Works in collaboration with the clinic manager, assisting with onboarding new MA staff as well as ongoing education to all MA staff, identifying needs and recommending training. Involved with quality initiatives and process changes ensuring MA staff understand and are able to accurately collect data. Assists with the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program. Tracks sample medications. Works in all provider pods as staffing needs dictate. Attends meetings as necessary Completes various special projects as assigned. Monitors delivery of patient services for effectiveness, efficiency and clinical excellence. Medical Assistant duties include, but are not limited to, assisting in all aspects of medical practice under the direction of a physician, interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, drawing and collecting blood samples from patients, administering patient immunizations, recording or inputting information to patients' medical records, and other general patient care activities. Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned Qualifications

Courses or experiences showing commitment, reliability, or work ethic Brings Certified Medical Assistant/Registered Medical Assistant experience, but we’ll consider all experiences Speaks both English and Spanish to better serve our community, but not required Must have a current American Heart Association BLS card within 3 months of initial employment and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment. Pay Range:

$20.50 - $31.72 /hour (based on experience) Comprehensive Benefits:
