Rushville Treatment and Detention Facility

LOCATION:

Rushville, IL

PAY RATE:

$37 an hour

We are looking for an LPN to join our correctional healthcare team. You will deliver hands‑on care to a vulnerable population under the guidance of RNs and medical providers. Your compassion and clinical judgment will help patients experience quality, compassionate care.

Position Summary

Administer medications and treatments as ordered

Assist with activities of daily living and therapeutic interventions

Take vital signs and monitor patient conditions

Provide wound care and change dressings

Support documentation and care planning

Promote hygiene, sanitation, and a safe environment for all patients

Serve as a vital part of a multidisciplinary treatment team

You will be more than a nurse.

What You’ll Need

Active unrestricted LPN license and 1–2 years of nursing experience (correctional experience preferred).

Active CPR certification—Accepted: American Red Cross, American Heart Association.

Excellent clinical judgment and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment.

A compassionate, nonjudgmental approach to patient care.
