The

Department of Neurosurgery

is seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong background in animal models of vascular disease and record of publication.

In our lab, staff and faculty work closely with physicians to focus on improving imaging, treatment, and detection of vascular diseases such as stroke, brain aneurysms and glioblastoma by conducting translational studies, often in collaboration with industry partners. We’re looking for someone who is able to work independently and who will directly report to, and communicate regularly with Adnan Siddiqui, MD.

The successful applicant is expected to be able to assist with study design for novel ideas and execute new models with the support of current research staff.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to: Researching the feasibility and path forward for new research ideas Using new animal models to conduct novel research Apply for grants and publish new research Working at UB comes with benefits that exceed salary alone.
