Atrium Health Kings Mountain is a 67-bed hospital offering services from 24/7 emergency care to behavioral health and rehabilitation. Essential Functions Communicates administrative problems and actions taken to the nurse leader, Administrator-On-Call, or senior administrative leader. Rounds on units to assess efficiency, productivity, and satisfaction of patients, teammates, and physicians. Guides staff on compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Coordinates communication through huddles, rounds, or meetings to exchange information. Assists with resource utilization to meet patient needs. Supervises nursing personnel, initiates corrective actions, and documents findings. Provides advice on treatments, interprets policies, and responds to emergencies. Manages patient flow, admissions, and discharges in coordination with interdisciplinary teams. Monitors staffing needs and reallocates resources as needed. Physical Requirements Walking, standing, sitting, lifting (up to 35 pounds), reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, speaking, understanding English, visual and auditory acuity, finger dexterity, critical thinking, concentration. Education, Experience, and Certifications Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Current RN licensure. Two years nursing experience preferred. BSN required. Enrollment in BSN program within 1 year if applicable. BLS, CPI certification within 90 days, and professional certification within 1 year.
