Schedule Details/Additional Information: Friday - Sunday 7:00p-7:30a. Call and Holiday rotation required.
Pay Range: $28.05 - $42.10

Major Responsibilities
Escorts patients, guests, and visitors to points of destination using ambulatory, beds, cribs, stretchers, and wheelchairs.
Uses hospital paging system appropriately.
Uses hospital telephone system to accept transport orders, track jobs, and complete tasks.
Assists nursing and clinical staff with transferring patients from bed to transport equipment.
Transports and provides room orientation for admissions.
Provides directional information to guests, family members, and patients regarding location and arrival status.
Verifies outpatient registrations and transports to appropriate departments or clinics.
Retrieves, cleans, and stores unused patient transport equipment.
Minimum Job Requirements Education
Graduate of an institution accredited by ARRT-recognized accreditation in Radiologic Technology.
Certification / License
Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date. CPR certification required.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities: Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development, with skills appropriate to the ages, culture, developmental stages, and special needs of the patient population served.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Requires strenuous physical effort while assisting patients from wheelchairs and stretchers. Handles equipment and supplies. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. May frequently stretch, bend, twist, squat, or kneel. Must use hands for power gripping, speed, and precision during manipulation of radiographic equipment. Vision and hearing for distances up to 10 feet are necessary.
