We are looking for a Speech and Language Pathologist - PRN
The NeuroMedical Center Rehabilitation Hospital is a 27-bed facility dedicated to helping patients regain independence after life-altering events or diagnoses. Our experienced team works tirelessly to ensure high-quality care for all patients. Our specialists are experts in stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), spinal cord injury, neurological diseases, amputations, and orthopedic rehabilitation.
Responsibilities We seek a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist responsible for providing a range of services to patients with neurological, speech-language, cognitive, swallowing, pragmatic, voice, and other related disorders. The role involves an interdisciplinary approach to promote and restore patients' health and well-being. In addition to bringing your skills and purpose to the workplace, qualified applicants should meet the following requirements:
Qualifications
One year of direct patient care experience in inpatient or outpatient settings (CFs are encouraged to apply; mentorship opportunities available)
Master’s degree in speech-language pathology and a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
Current Speech-Language Pathologist License in Louisiana
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
