Manufacturing Engineer.

This position plays a critical role in executing the reimagination of processing within CCA. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll drive large-scale automation and packaging optimization initiatives with a focus on robotics, automation, and product packaging technologies. You will work with cross-functional teams to solve complex manufacturing challenges, particularly those related to workstation design, material flow, and automated systems integration. Your decisions will rely on sound technical judgment within established practices and engineering standards. This role offers the opportunity to work hands-on with advanced robotic and packaging technologies while supporting transformational change across the network. What You Will Do Support

large-scale capital projects

related to automation, packaging systems, and robotics. Provide technical direction on

automation integration

, including robots, manufacturing equipment, and conveyance. Drive

optimization of existing robotic and product conveyance systems

to improve safety, efficiency, and cycle time. Create and maintain engineering standardized work and documentation. Collaborate with outside vendors, integrators, and OEMs to define system capabilities and deployment plans. Lead redesign of production areas, with a focus on

automated workstations

and material presentation. Oversee installation, commissioning, and qualification of new equipment, including safety verifications (G-Comply). Support continuous improvement initiatives using data analysis and throughput improvement tools. Coordinate machine runoffs and OEM supervision during equipment installs. Conduct safety contract management (SCM), task planning, and observation tours to ensure a safe work environment. Travel to support OEM build reviews, runoffs, and site installations as required (may include weekends or off-shifts). Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications) 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, automation, or warehousing. Proven ability to design safe, efficient, and scalable operations, including robotic work cells, automated packaging lines, and material handling systems, with a strong emphasis on ergonomic workstation layout, risk mitigation (e.g., G-Comply), and throughput optimization. Working knowledge of: Standardized Work (STDS), Line Balancing (APS). TIP and Indirect Labor Studies, and Throughput improvement tools and simulations Proficiency in AutoCAD and workstation/plant layout optimization. Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications) Experience leading automation or robotics deployments in warehousing or production.

Working knowledge of

Experience with performance tracking, process monitoring, and data-driven continuous improvement.

Project management experience across multi-functional teams and facilities.

Working knowledge of

automated labeling, box forming, palletizing

, and other robotic packaging technologies.
