— Wellspring’s Crisis Stabilization Program aims to assist adults experiencing an acute psychiatric episode. With 24/7 care, the program helps people avoid hospitalization, achieve stabilization, and recover from symptoms such as severe depression, mania, or psychosis in a homelike setting. The 16‑bed program has two locations – the Samuel B. Todd Center and the David J. Block Center; both are licensed, accredited crisis stabilization services serving the Louisville Metro region. Wellspring CSU Peer Support Specialist Summary:
Peer Specialists are active members of the CSU multidisciplinary treatment team, providing safety and support during the CSU stay. They offer supportive counseling and crisis intervention with guidance from the clinical team. Peer Specialists assist clients with recovery through problem solving and life skills training via individual and group sessions, and complete electronic documentation of services during each shift. Special Skills and Requirements: The CSU Peer Specialist identifies as a mental health consumer and is willing to share personal experience of recovery to support others. They believe in recovery from mental illness and have empathy, compassion, and a careful, caring attitude. Candidates should be willing to share their personal recovery experience and have experience providing peer support to clients with serious mental illness and substance use disorders. A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle are essential for transporting clients to appointments as needed. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. The candidate will hold an Adult Peer Support Certification and be certified by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Salary:
$15 - $18 / hour Position Details:
The Wellspring CSU is hiring part‑time Peer Support Specialists for weekday 1st and 2nd shift. 1st shift — 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM 2nd shift — 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Additional Application Information:
