Key Responsibilities
Perform high‑quality work at a productive rate with minimal supervision.
Assess ground conditions and prepare trenching areas.
Excavate, clean, and prepare construction sites for pipe installation.
Lay and align various types of pipes including sewer, storm, and water systems.
Seal joints, install auxiliary lines, and remove old piping systems.
Maintain cleanliness and safety on the jobsite; remove rubble, debris, and waste.
Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
Arrive on time, ready to work with proper gear.
Communicate clearly and consistently with supervisors.
Perform other labor‑related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
2‑5 years of construction or pipe installation experience preferred.
Ability to follow blueprints or layout instructions provided by supervisors.
Familiarity with sewer systems, storm drains, and water main installation is highly preferred.
High school diploma or GED required.
Must be self‑motivated, reliable, and capable of performing physically demanding tasks.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Must have reliable transportation and a working cell phone for daily communication.
Physical Requirements
Lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Stand, walk, bend, crouch, and climb throughout an 8‑10 hour workday.
Work in outdoor environments year‑round, in all weather conditions.
Competitive hourly pay: $17 - $22+, based on experience
Weekly pay cycle.
