Job Overview Blade Construction LLC is seeking a self-driven and experienced Marine Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations for our civil and marine construction projects in Baldwin and Mobile Counties. Key Responsibilities
Supervise marine construction crews on-site for pile-driving, dredging, bulkheads, boardwalks, and related work.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
Enforce safety compliance through regular meetings, field reviews, and jobsite inspections.
Conduct jobsite walkthroughs with clients and management; communicate project updates and site conditions.
Evaluate and initiate RFIs, change orders, or schedule adjustments as needed.
Oversee materials, subcontractors, and maintenance needs; communicate with the office to maintain project momentum.
Assist in hands‑on tasks to boost team productivity and morale.
Manage multiple jobs simultaneously and keep projects profitable and on schedule.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in marine or heavy civil construction (pile-driving, steel/concrete/fiberglass bulkheads, dredge pumps, etc.)
Proven ability to lead field crews and manage jobsite safety, productivity, and documentation.
Comfortable with reading blueprints and construction specs.
Strong communication, organization, and planning skills.
Physically fit and willing to work hands‑on as needed.
Self‑motivated, energetic, and solution‑oriented.
Valid Driver's License required.
TWIC card required (or ability to obtain).
NCCCO Crane Operator certification a plus (not required, but preferred).
High School Diploma or GED required.
