Lead From the Ground Up - Become a Ground-Up Construction Superintendent at Andrew General Contractors Inc.!
Pay Range: $100,000 - $130,000+ per year, depending on experience
Location: Orlando, FL and Surrounding Areas
Job Overview Andrew General Contractors Inc. is seeking an experienced and proactive Ground-Up Construction Superintendent to lead commercial construction projects from mobilization to completion. In this role, you will manage all on-site operations, oversee subcontractors and suppliers, and uphold the safety and quality standards our company is known for. With projects primarily focused on ground-up construction, the ideal candidate will also be flexible to lead interior build-outs as needed.
As the field leader, you're responsible for ensuring safety compliance, coordinating inspections, managing project schedules, and driving job site productivity. This position reports to the General Superintendent and plays a vital role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
Manage on-site construction activities from mobilization through completion.
Lead and mentor site teams while fostering productive relationships with subcontractors.
Review subcontracts, drawings, specs, and addenda to identify and resolve conflicts or code issues.
Partner with the Project Manager to coordinate schedules, utilities, staging areas, and workforce planning.
Monitor and enforce jobsite safety practices, including OSHA compliance and company standards.
Maintain project schedules and ensure timely documentation (daily reports, photos, logs).
Take initiative to identify problems and implement solutions proactively.
Administer final inspections, punch list completion, and project close‑out.
Maintain a 'zero punch' mindset—ensure top-quality craftsmanship in all phases.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience preferred in ground-up construction, including tilt-wall, steel, block, and site infrastructure.
Proven ability to lead Class A office, financial, and healthcare construction projects.
Understanding of construction documents, cost analysis, and scheduling.
OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred.
Excellent verbal, written, and customer service communication skills.
Highly organized, self‑motivated, and comfortable managing concurrent projects.
Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel.
AHCA experience preferred but not required.
Must pass Jessica Lunsford Act background check.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical site work as needed.
