Overview
The Housing Authority of the City of Greensboro is seeking a skilled
Maintenance Supervisor
to oversee and perform a variety of building and equipment maintenance tasks across our housing developments. This role includes HVAC system operation and repair, apartment turnover preparation, general repairs, and emergency maintenance coverage. Starting Salary:
$50,000 annually Reports To:
Executive Director Responsibilities
Operate and maintain HVAC systems and mechanical equipment. Inspect and prepare apartments for new occupancy. Perform repairs in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and other trades. Assist with fire safety inspections and recordkeeping. Supervise 1-2 Maintenance Technicians and provide guidance and support. Participate in off-shift and weekend emergency maintenance coverage. Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED. 5+ years of experience in building maintenance or equivalent technical training. Valid Georgia driver's license and bondable status. HVAC certification or ability to obtain EPA certification within 12 months. Ability to lift, climb, and perform physical labor. Skills
Proficiency with hand and power tools. Ability to read blueprints and electrical meters. Strong customer service and teamwork skills. Ability to assign duties and supervise staff effectively. Benefits
