Position Description

Schedule: Monday-Friday Day Shift. Location – TKC Acton Road.

Under close supervision and guidance, you will demonstrate proficiency commensurate with basic technical skills, performing routine and emergency echocardiograms including 2D, 3D, Doppler, myocardial mechanics, and ultrasound enhancing agents. You will proficiently operate diagnostic ultrasound and ancillary equipment, thoroughly complete appropriate documentation, and provide echocardiography services at all locations and schedules as needed to meet patient care needs.

Position Requirements

Minimum Requirements: High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular ultrasound training program preferred. Proof of eligibility to test for RDCS or RCS certification required for new graduates of a sonography program.

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations

ARDMS or CCI certification in Echocardiography must be obtained within twelve (12) months from date of hire. Current BLS or ACLS by the American Heart Association (AHA) required. All candidates must successfully complete ultrasound scanning of the heart, subject to approval by the Echo Quality Panel, as part of the interview process.
