EAM-Mosca Corp., Hazle Township PA, a dynamic market leader in end-of-line automated packaging machinery and consumable strapping solutions, is seeking a Field Service Technician for the Green Bay, WI region. EAM-Mosca is privately held with a focused, entrepreneurial culture and a blue-chip client base of North and South American manufacturing companies. The company offers standard and custom engineered packaging machinery solutions and superior consumable packaging products, supported by quality technical service and readily available aftersales parts support. EAM Mosca is seeking experienced self-driven Field Service Technicians with an electromechanical background to support our advanced strapping systems. The Field Service Technician provides on-site and remote support for a suite of strapping solutions, including standalone systems and machines integrated into customer conveyance systems. Responsibilities
Install and commission equipment in a manner that ensures reliability and high customer satisfaction. Perform preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, and emergency repair on all EAM equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems using systematic thinking, test equipment, and hand tools to locate faults and develop plans to report, plan, and execute the solution. Collaborate with Mosca Engineering to deliver the highest level of customer service. Generate service reports that clearly explain the work performed, parts used, issue and solution, and any follow-up needed, in a timely and professional manner. Communicate daily with area service managers and develop schedules and travel itineraries that meet customer needs and allow time to perform requested work. Work with a sense of urgency while remaining calm under pressure to ensure excellent customer service. Skills and qualifications
Advanced understanding of machines and their systems, including pneumatics, hydraulics, bearings, levers, channels, pulleys, cams, and cogent related components. Basic experience with control systems using Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and B&R PLCs. Electromechanical experience with conveyance systems, sensors, electric motors, and related interactions. Ability to use a multimeter, perform point-to-point checks, read electrical schematics, and trace circuits. Ability to read calipers and micrometers. Ability to take initiative and work independently on a regular basis. Clear and professional written and verbal communication across web-based reporting, video conferencing, and face-to-face interactions. Willingness to travel extensively within the U.S. Monday through Friday (80%). Team, Training and Support
In-house and on-the-job training with senior field staff. Company car, corporate expense account/credit card, company laptop and cell phone. All required personal safety equipment and company logoed clothing. All supporting parts inventory needed for equipment maintenance and company-supplied tools. Experience and education
Minimum 3 years of field or plant equipment maintenance experience. Spanish is preferred. Corrugated industry experience is a plus. Mechanical understanding of strapping machines; Mosca experience preferred. High school diploma and a valid driver\'s license. Solid mechanical/electrical background; PLC experience preferred.
