Design Signs of Williston is seeking a highly skilled professional with sign making experience to join our team. We were voted the Best of Business in Vermont for the last 5 years and our business continues to grow as the needs of our clients continues to evolve. Responsibilities
As a Sign Fabricator, produce and install many types of high quality commercial signs and communicate with clients professionally on job sites. Climb ladders and operate mechanical lift as part of sign installation. Possess Graphic Design skills in FlexiSign, Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign; create signs using substrates including aluminum composite, vinyl, etched, raised letters and more. Mask, weed and apply vinyl and etched film to various substrates and glass. Paint, carve on the CNC router, rip vinyl and gild in gold and palladium. Qualifications
You have strong mechanical/mathematic skills or sign industry experience. You come from a carpentry background. You have a positive “can do” attitude and you consider yourself a self starter. You love working outside and don’t prefer sitting behind a desk. You are detail oriented and prefer to work without close supervision. You possess good customer service skills. You are a team player and thrive in a small work group environment with a family owned company. You have good communication skills and are able to articulate your thoughts clearly. You enjoy using your creative juices and take pride in seeing your work sprinkled throughout the community. Apply
