Statsig, Inc.
About Statsig
Thousands of companies—including OpenAI, Microsoft, Atlassian, Notion, Bloomberg, Brex, Vercel, and Rippling rely on Statsig to understand their product and find new ways to grow. We're not just building a better analytics or experimentation tool - we're changing the way products are built, so that every company can have a data-driven product culture. Backed by Sequoia Capital, Iconiq Capital and Madrona Venture Group, Statsig has grown rapidly and surpassed key revenue milestones. As of Jun 2025, we’re a 130-person team based in-person in Bellevue, WA, moving quickly and building for builders. What You’ll Do
As a Documentation Engineer at Statsig, you’ll own the quality of our Docs end-to-end. This is a hybrid writing/engineering/product role where you’ll continuously improve our documentation’s quality, organization, and recency, diving deep on technical concepts, often in concert with engineers, to explain them in developer-friendly language. You'll be hands-on in the Statsig product, testing new features as they’re built, and helping shape how the product is communicated to other engineers. Key Responsibilities
Developer-Facing Content Write and maintain technical docs for Statsig’s user-facing console, SDKs, APIs, and Data Methodologies. If it helps customers use Statsig, it’s fair game.
Walk through new features and build understanding through direct use and SME interviews.
Docs Platform Engineering Maintain and evolve our documentation site like you would a production frontend app, contributing to layout, performance, and content tooling.
Docs-as-Product Own the docs backlog: prioritize fixes, clean up outdated content, reduce duplication, and improve discoverability.
Establish and maintain docs best practices, assisting other contributors when necessary.
Code + Workflow Write documentation in Markdown and React, and contribute to other internal tools & scripts that improve the authoring workflow.
Use git and Github to publish content, and assist others with contributions.
