Cb Controls
Under LIMITED supervision, provides installation and repair of complex electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems working from a technical blueprint. Able to perform work in a construction environment in a safe manner and to OSHA standards. Is highly competent in OSHA standards.
Electrician Responsibilities
Manages Apprentices and other Journeyman assigned to them in a construction environment.
Plans & directs daily jobsite activities.
Ensures Project dailies are completed.
Maintains daily information flow to superintendent.
Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
Perform general electrical maintenance.
Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
Inspect control circuits including motor starters & control circuits.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices.
Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, controllers, or fixtures.
Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems- HVAC.
Good knowledge of various test equipment.
Electrician Requirements
OSHA 30 hr Certificate.
Completion of a State approved electrician apprenticeship program.
State Journeyman card (or in process of obtaining card)
Experience working as an electrician.
High school diploma.
Valid driver’s license.
