Recycling Plant Operator Automation Personnel Services is looking for a
Recycling Plant Operator
for a company based in Montgomery , Alabama . In this role, you will have the opportunity to control water flows, PLC controls for our FOG (Fat, Oils and Grease) recovery system and processes through plant equipment DAF (Dissolved Air Flotation) systems. Perform tests, maintenance, etc. to ensure proper operation of all wastewater-related and FOG recycling equipment. Other duties as assigned by management.
Pay Rate $2 1 .00 - $24.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday
Recycling Plant Operator
Duties and Responsibilities
• Proper operation of plant DAF skimmer. • Chemical inventory and addition throughout wastewater treatment processes. • Perform wastewater test as needed. • Proper operation of DAF. • Proper operation of FOG recovery system. • Control flows throughout wastewater treatment processes. • Daily cleaning of FOG recovery system components. • Help with maintenance projects or work around responsibility. • Unloading tanker trailers and trucks for the purpose of recycling FOG.
Recycling Plant Operator
Qualifications and Requirements • Reliable transportation . • Required 1-year prior experience in a wastewater facility or processing plant production environment. • Familiarity with industrial wastewater processing. • Ability to lift 75 lb throughout shift. (Lifting assessment given in the office) • High school diploma or equivalent preferred • Proper unexpired documents required to complete the Federal I-9 process. • Background and Drug Testing are required. • Must be 18 years or older.
