Job Overview Blue Horizon Energy LLC is hiring multiple Journeyman Electricians to support solar construction projects across the state of Maine. These roles are ideal for experienced electricians who bring a can‑do, team‑first attitude and are excited about working in the fast‑growing solar energy sector. While most work is local to Maine, drive time to remote projects may be required. Travel for overnights is not expected for this role.
This is a long‑term, full‑time opportunity with at least one year of active work already secured in Maine and additional projects in the pipeline. You’ll be leading electrical construction efforts at commercial, industrial, and utility project sites, working with apprentices and technicians to deliver top‑tier renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Perform electrical installation and construction for solar, battery storage, and EV charging projects.
Lead and mentor apprentices and support personnel on project sites.
Read and interpret single‑line diagrams, site plans, and technical documentation.
Ensure work is completed according to NEC, company standards, and safety protocols.
Use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment proficiently.
Coordinate with project managers and field staff to meet construction timelines.
Travel within Maine to project sites; company provides vehicle or mileage reimbursement.
Qualifications
Valid Maine Journeyman Electrician License (Master license welcome).
At least 5 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience.
Familiarity with NEC code and best practices in electrical safety.
Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and electrical plans.
Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork mindset.
Solar energy construction experience is preferred but not required.
