Job Summary:
The EADS Group, Inc. which began operation in 1955 is actively seeking a Transportation Structural Engineer to be part of our growing multi-discipline consulting engineering firm. As part of this growth we are accepting applications to work at our Morgantown, WV office.
Here's what you'll need: • A minimum of 4 years of structure design experience with transportation structures including bridges, drainage structures, retaining walls, and sign and traffic signal structures. • Familiarity with PennDOT, Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission or WVDOT design standards and deliverables is desired. • Proficiency with use of structural modeling software and AutoCAD is desired. • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field and licensed as a Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or the State of West Virginia or the ability to obtain licensure within one year. • Excellent organizational and communication skills and ability to effectively work within a team environment is required.
Here's what we'd like to see: • Experience with highway drainage and storm water management design; erosion and sedimentation control design; and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and report preparation is a plus.
