Responsibilities
Collaborate with Manufacturing Test Engineers to understand design requirements and translate them into manufacturing test processes. Assemble and integrate components of automated test systems, including hardware, software, and instrumentation. Build and support validation of test manufacturing processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. Operate and maintain test manufacturing equipment, making necessary adjustments to optimize production efficiency and quality. Participate in the improvement of test manufacturing processes, tools, and equipment to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Conduct root cause analysis on manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the testing process. Conduct preventive maintenance activities on manufacturing test process and document work per required quality procedures. Maintain accurate documentation of manufacturing processes, equipment settings, and production data. Execute test system validation protocols to ensure test system accuracy, reliability, and consistency of results. Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Associate degree or 3+ years of related experience (e.g., Electronics, Engineering, Manufacturing Technology). Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the medical device industry. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations. Experience with electronic test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes), hand tools, soldering and assembly equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively. Experience with software such as LabVIEW, TestStand, or other test automation tools is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, manufacturing). Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement; ability to interpret schematics and test procedures. Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
