Job Summary
The Department of Neurology is seeking an Intraoperative Neuromonitoring Neuromonitorist to protect patients by continuously monitoring the central and peripheral nervous system during surgery. You will work closely with multiple disciplines to improve patient outcomes through state‑of‑the‑art IOM care. Responsibilities
Perform high‑quality neurophysiological monitoring during neurosurgical, orthopedic, and vascular procedures. Utilize multi‑modality monitoring including somatosensory evoked potentials, electromyography, transcranial motor evoked potentials, electroencephalography, brainstem auditory evoked potentials, cranial nerve monitoring, electrocorticography, and nerve conduction studies. Serve pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups. Required Qualifications
Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM). Bachelor’s degree and at least one (1) year of IONM experience OR Bachelor’s degree with an IONM focus. Preferred Qualifications
Graduation from a high school with basic science coursework or equivalent combination. Reasonable experience as an IOM Technologist. Certification by the American Board of Registration for Electroencephalographic Technologist preferred or working toward CNIM; if not CNIM, must obtain certification within one (1) year of employment.
