Mechanical Inspector
to join our respected team of professionals who help keep our community safe, efficient, and thriving. In this role, you'll perform inspections and plan reviews of mechanical and plumbing installations to ensure compliance with building codes, ordinances, and regulations. You'll work directly with contractors, builders, and residents to make sure every project meets the high standards that Novi is known for.
Responsibilities
Provide inspections and plan reviews to verify compliance with applicable codes, ordinances, and regulations for mechanical and plumbing installations (when qualified). Interact with contractors, builders, and residents to ensure projects meet Novi’s standards.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required Valid Michigan driver's license Minimum
10 years of field experience Ability to obtain and maintain
State of Michigan Mechanical Inspector and Plan Reviewer credentials
per Act 407 Plumbing credentials preferred
