Job Description Primary responsibilities will include coordinating and overseeing bilingual (Spanish) service provision at the Center for Psychological Services. This part‑time, grant‑funded, 12‑month position (up to 20 hrs / week) may be renewed and offers flexibility to support the Center’s mission of providing mental health services to the local community.
Provide mental health services in Spanish
Supervise graduate students and doctoral fellows conducting mental‑health services in Spanish
Offer back‑up consultation on clinical issues when primary supervisors are unavailable
Participate in Center‑related trainings on cultural competency and engagement, as needed
Expand the Center’s outreach program to connect with Queens‑based agencies and organizations, raising awareness of multilingual services
Assist administration in collecting and evaluating data to measure the impact of bilingual services
Adhere to ethical and legal standards of the profession
Qualifications
Doctorate in Clinical or School Psychology
Licensure as a Psychologist in New York State
Fluency in Spanish and English
Experience in the delivery of psychological services
Minimum one year of supervision experience in psychological services
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate with faculty, students, and professional staff
Dedication to the Vincentian and global missions of the University

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual salary for this position is $58,000. Compensation and benefits are commensurate with qualifications, experience, and departmental budget, and include medical, dental, life insurance, long‑term disability, tuition remission, a 403(b) plan with employer contribution, an employee assistance program, and generous paid time off.
