Certifications: ACLS*, BLS, NIHSS* Cardiac/critical care knowledge areas: Med/Surg, MS/Tele, Colostomy care, feeding tube management, pre/post hemodialysis management, renal failure, accessing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draw, peripheral line management, phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Heparin, PCA, Spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injury, ortho trauma, total joint replacements, surgical drains, HFNC, nasal cannula, oral suctioning, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tanks, tracheostomy management, wound care Vascular/vascular access: Accessing/Managing ports, Central line blood draw, PICC line management Infectious disease precautions: Isolation Precautions Telemetry and remote monitoring: Telemetry - remote monitoring* Skills & Experience

Experience: 2 years (RN), charting system experience required (Epic) Specialty: Med/Surg, MS/Tele, Orthopedic trauma and ortho surgery Procedures: Colostomy care, CPAP/BiPAP, ABGs interpretation, IV starts, IV meds administration, blood product administration, wound care, chest tubes (Emerson/PleurEvac) Unit & Staffing
