SIRIS is seeking to add a motivated
Construction Manager
(CM), with an applicable degree, to join our team on a Healthcare Project in Sepulveda, CA. The CM will act as a Design and Construction Manager reporting to a Program Manager and collaborate with VA client staff to provide data and generate reports as a representative for the client on major healthcare construction projects. Responsibilities : The Construction Manager will join a team of professionals and act as the Owner's Representative from design through construction and closeout. The role involves implementing our company's best practices related to project delivery, budget, schedule, quality, and operations in the healthcare environment. The Construction Manager will also serve as an advisor/liaison with the client, design team, contractors, and facility engineering representatives. Services will support traditional Design-Bid-Build and Design/Build contracts. A summary of major tasks includes: Design Phase : Scheduling Planning Market Analysis Constructability and Phasing Review Construction Period Phase : Establishing temporary field offices Monitoring project financial data and budgets Progress Meetings Assisting in issue resolution Testing and Inspection Services Performing additional construction-related services Claims Analysis and Resolution Services Qualifications : Licensing: None Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering from an accredited institution. Experience: Minimum of 5 years managing both design and construction phases of projects. Knowledge: Ability to understand local, state, and federal jurisdiction requirements, construction contract documents, engineering services, building codes, budgeting, and scheduling. Leadership: Ability to collaborate and integrate with other professionals. Preferred Qualifications : Professional Engineering License Experience with Healthcare and Federal projects CCM or PMP certifications Benefits include: Medical, Dental, Vision insurance; 401K with up to 4% match; Paid Time Off; Annual bonus based on performance.
