for a potential 5-year project in Norfolk, VA. This opportunity involves hands-on labor working at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment for experienced professionals. Note:

This position is contingent upon contract award. Employment will begin only if and when the company secures the government contract associated with this role. Overview

Perform installation, troubleshooting, and repair of shipboard electrical systems on U.S. Navy vessels. Responsibilities

Install and repair wiring, panels, and controls. Test and troubleshoot electrical systems with meters and analyzers Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Ensure compliance with electrical and safety standards. Qualifications

Active DoD Secret clearance required. High school diploma/GED; completion of a formal trade training program (trade school, military training, apprenticeship, or equivalent) required. 4+ years as an electrician with at least 2+ years on Navy ships Knowledge of NFPA 70E and shipyard electrical standards.
