We are seeking an experienced
Commercial Project Manager (CPM)
to oversee the financial and commercial aspects of complex projects. This role ensures financial transparency, compliance, and profitability throughout the project lifecycle. The CPM will collaborate closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams across Finance, Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Tax, and Accounting. Responsibilities
Manage all finance-related matters for assigned projects, including accounting, legal, tax, foreign currencies, and revenue recognition. Oversee project financial execution, including project setup in SAP, sale orders, invoicing, payment terms, and maintenance of project costs. Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, reporting guidelines, and internal controls. Conduct financial forecasting, project controlling, and reporting for a portfolio of ongoing projects. Partner with Project Managers during contract negotiations and support strategic and financial decision-making. Prepare commercial documentation for project status meetings and maintain accurate project data throughout execution. Ensure compliance with all internal policies, external regulations, and commercial standards. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics. 5+ years of hands-on experience in Commercial Project Management, Project Finance, or a similar role. In-depth knowledge of IFRS and GAAP accounting standards. Strong skills in SAP, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, and Power Query. Proven ability to manage revenue recognition, loss calculations, cash flow, and project margins. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under deadlines. Collaborative mindset with experience working across diverse teams and disciplines. Preferred Skills
Experience in large-scale engineering, energy, or infrastructure projects. Understanding of project contracts, taxation, insurance, and securities. Ability to provide leadership and structure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
