The role of the Supply Chain Analyst is to coordinate entry and follow up on claims related to logistics, subcontractors, and customers. Monitor overall supply chain for quality and process improvements as it relates to logistics and subcontracting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Submit claims in both SAP and Americas CCC system Provide credit notes to customers where applicable. Follow up feed forward quality notifications with downstream subcontractors to ensure defects are cropped and appropriate claims and credit documentation are entered. Monitor subcontractor held inventory Communicate with Inside Sales Representative and Supply Chain Manager to ensure proper material movement in the supply chain. Investigate root cause and monitor corrective action with subcontractor Review survey reports and communicate compromised quality issues internally and externally for tracking and documentation for material shipped from the port documentation. Communicate and coordinate with SSAB EMEA in regards to external logistic issues and mill related issues to improve quality performance and drive quality related improvements throughout the supply chain and at customers Follow insurance claims as needed, providing appropriate back up. Regular onsite office presence required. Regular and reliable attendance required. QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask Ability to work independently and make decisions. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work and contribute in a team environment. Preferred:
Automotive or Flat Rolled Steel Experience Experience in working in an SAP or similar claims system. Experience in Supply Chain with an understanding of INCO terms and the general flow of material from order entry to customer. Education
