About This Role

Privateer is seeking an experienced Power Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to support the Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Patrol. The Power BI analyst will transform raw data into insights that shape business decisions. The analyst will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements, transform data, and deliver high-quality visual reports and dashboards that drive decision-making. The position is fully onsite 5 days a week in Springfield, VA and Ashburn, VA. U.S. Citizenship and Clearance Requirement

Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs. Analyze datasets to uncover trends and insights. Maintain data accuracy and integrity within BI systems. Translate business requirements into technical specifications. Qualifications

Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate. Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field such as Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Networking, or Telecommunications. Minimum of six (6) years experience creating Power BI dashboards. In-depth knowledge of SQL and data modeling techniques. Nice If You Have

Ability to lift, carry, or move objects up to [specific weight requirement e.g. 50 lbs.]. Requires prolonged standing, walking, or physical activity for extended periods (e.g. up to 8 hours).
