to lead and deliver high-level strategic collaborations with community leaders, local councils, and key public service sectors. As part of the

SCSPR-75 Strategic Partnerships Programme , this role plays a critical part in aligning community needs with sustainable development solutions through multisectoral engagement and long-term partnership building. Key Responsibilities

As the Strategic Partnerships Community Leaders Specialist, you will: Lead monthly and quarterly strategic engagement processes with community leaders across all SayPro focus areas. Design, coordinate and implement cross-sector partnership projects in:

Governance & Council Support Housing & Urban Development Customer Relations & Community Communications Human Resources, Legal, and Policy Integration Energy, Environment, Infrastructure & Resilience Social Development, Disaster Risk Management, and Health Information Systems, Data Science & Knowledge Management Education, Training, Economic Development & Youth Initiatives

Provide expert input on partnership frameworks, stakeholder analysis, and community-based action planning. Develop monitoring tools and compile in-depth reports on partnership effectiveness and impact. Facilitate knowledge exchange, technical workshops, and joint initiatives between SayPro, government units, and grassroots leaders. Ensure inclusive representation in all strategic engagements, especially vulnerable, rural, and marginalised populations. Serve as a thought leader on local government-community collaboration and integrated service delivery. Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy, Development Studies, Urban/Regional Planning, Community Development, or related field. A Master’s degree is preferred. Minimum 5 years’ experience in public-private partnerships, strategic development programmes, or community-focused governance. Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder engagement, community leadership, and intergovernmental relations. Knowledge of municipal systems, housing delivery, energy, urban planning, and integrated development frameworks. Strong facilitation, policy-writing, and impact assessment skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to translate community voices into actionable programmes. Proficiency in digital tools, reporting systems, and multi-lingual communication is a strong advantage.
