The essential duties and responsibilities include the following: Inspect in-process product for conformity to blueprints. Inspect finished product to Customer requirements. Document inspection results. Update and maintain quality procedures and records. Education and/or Experience
Required: Experience with reading (understanding / interpreting) manufacturing prints (drawings / blueprints). Experience with measuring parts. Experience with measuring tools (caliper, micrometer, height gauge, etc.) Worked in a manufacturing environment (sheet metal, welding, etc.). High school diploma or equivalent. 3 to 5 years’ experience in quality inspection role. Strong communication, problem-solving ability, and understanding of manufacturing processes. Computer experience. Strong experience with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Metal fabrication experience. Experience with ISO 9000 standard and procedures. 2 to 3 years’ experience with Statistical Process Control. Preferred: Certified AS9100 Internal Quality Auditor. Black Belt/Green Belt in Six Sigma Processing. Bilingual (Spanish) a plus. Ludlow uses E-Verify to verify eligibility to work in the US. Pay Range: $18 - $25/hour.
