You’ve got an undergraduate degree Your leadership track record is evident in class, on campus, in your community, or in the military You’re legally authorized to work in the U.S.A. Note: We are currently unable to sponsor individuals for employment visas for these positions. Each program starts on the first of the month and runs for approximately 9–12 months. You’re able to commute to the city, state daily and open to relocation after completion of the program. Compensation and Benefits

Pay:

$25.00 per hour with an average annual compensation of $55,000 (including OT) Benefits:

This position is designed to provide valuable experience to launch a career with Penske. The training program prepares you to oversee logistics operations including customer service, freight loading/unloading, dispatch, and proper documentation and procedure control. Upon graduation, you’ll be prepared to lead a small group of hourly associates in a dedicated contract carriage operation. Ensure associates are motivated, engaged, trained, and understand how their work supports customers’ business objectives Foster a safe work environment by complying with established safety and operational procedures Understand location-specific customer goals and work to meet/exceed these expectations daily Resolve issues and monitor day-to-day operations for compliance with organizational and time-management standards Learn Kaizen methodology and implement Lean processes Evaluate and recommend changes to improve productivity of dispatch operations Plan work assignments to maximize the efficient use of fleet/equipment Qualifications

Willing to relocate based on business needs or upon program completion Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Data Science/Analytics, or related field (a plus) Demonstrated leadership through school, community, clubs/organizations, or the military Authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship for visas is not available Internship or related work experience in a customer-facing role preferred Effective written and verbal communication Ability to learn and navigate various technology platforms Commitment to learning and growth; receptive to feedback Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills Ability to build positive working relationships across the department Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function Willingness to travel as necessary and work at the required location Physical Requirements
