This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.**Job Type**Unclassified**Department**Emergency Management**About the Position**The EOC Technology Analyst is part of the team responsible for supporting and managing the systems utilized by the department and the Emergency Operations Center. The team also collaborates with municipal and tribal partners to provide training, user support, and ongoing development of the Crisis Information Management System, WebEOC. Duties include creating and managing user accounts, maintaining system access controls, performing data validation, and ensuring secure information flow across all platforms. Provides support for 24-hour EOC or activations at city, town, tribal, county, and state levels. Serves as department co-Liaison with OET (County IT).* Oversees the department’s comprehensive radio communications program, serving as the primary point of contact for internal staff, external partners, and volunteer HAM radio operators during both routine operations and emergency activations. Manages and maintains multiple interconnected radio networks linking county, state, city, and town systems, ensuring they are regularly tested, operational, and supported through user training and readiness exercises. This position is responsible for the overall coordination, maintenance, and performance of all departmental communication systems to ensure reliability during real-world events and exercises. Participates in rotational after-hours on-call for our customer needs; in support of the MCDEM duty officers, assists in maintaining the technical equipment inventory and sign-in-out processes, procedures, and audits.* Maintains and updates databases that support response operations for incidents occurring across the county. Conducts regular testing, troubleshooting, and performance assessments to ensure full system functionality and interoperability during no-notice activations and field deployments. Collaborates with IT staff, departmental leadership, and partner agencies to implement updates, maintain operational continuity, and strengthen emergency response readiness. Coordinates with vendors to identify and implement additional solutions as needed.* Serves as the primary point of contact with Facilities Management for building maintenance, repairs, and coordination of facility-related solutions. Provides hands-on support for remote site activations, connectivity, and operational technology, including telephones, computers, projectors, printers, scanners, copiers, fax machines, generators, wireless networks, and other communication systems supporting EOCs, Recovery Information Centers, Reception and Care Centers, and shelters. This role ensures the seamless integration and functionality of all building systems, recognizing that technology is the backbone of operations, and acts as the central liaison for troubleshooting and maintaining these critical connections.* Assists Security Services in maintaining and auditing access control systems to ensure proper authorization for all personnel. Coordinates with Facilities and HR to manage badge issuance, access levels, and onboarding or offboarding of employees and contractors. Ensures compliance with security protocols and promptly addresses any access issues or discrepancies.**Working Conditions*** Exerting over 100 lbs. occasionally, 50-100 lbs. frequently, or up to 20-50 lbs. constantly.* Position is typically office or administrative work and is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.* Incumbent may be subjected to extreme temperatures, wetness/humidity, respiratory hazards and noise and vibration.* Incumbent may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, poor, ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel.* The work will occur in an office and field environment.
