The Challenge We're looking for a Business Development Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. To succeed, you should be self-motivated, a creative problem solver, and an excellent communicator. Your communication skills will help you cultivate strong relationships with customers.
OneTrust is a fast-growing SaaS enterprise platform with a strong growth trajectory. We invest heavily in our Sales Team through demand generation, methodology-driven sales approaches, weekly sales trainings, customer-driven roadmaps, and a readily-available executive team to help close deals.
Your Mission In this role, you will reach out to target accounts in your territory and qualify inbound leads from campaigns into sales opportunities. You should bring an organized, consistent approach and a strong desire to learn to meet and exceed your monthly, quarterly, and annual qualified meeting and revenue goals.
Additionally, you will:
Take primary ownership of our named account strategy and communicate effectively with all levels (C, SVP, VP, Dir, etc.) and key decision makers.
Build strong relationships with internal and external customers, deliver presentations, and coordinate meetings or calls between prospective clients and Account Executives, maintaining relationships throughout the sales process.
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our offerings to answer questions and make recommendations to customers/prospects.
Collaborate with other OneTrust employees to meet and exceed customer expectations whenever possible.
You Are A coachable, organized individual with strong communication and critical thinking skills, eager to be at the forefront of the sales process.
For candidates in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, and Washington: the annual base pay range for this role is $52,500 — $70,000 USD. Individual pay within this range depends on location, skills, experience, and education. The role may also include discretionary bonuses, equity, and/or commissions, along with benefits.
