Tele-Optometry provides an exciting opportunity. Howard S. Fried Optometry, P.C., uses patented remote technology to provide comprehensive eye exams. This remote experience offers added flexibility for Optometrists and expanded options for patients to schedule exams. We are actively seeking New York state licensed Optometrists. Join our Optometrist panel as a primary or supplemental source of income without leaving home. As a licensed Doctor of Optometry, you work as an Independent Contractor with DigitalOptometrics. Responsibilities
Examine patients in the state(s) where you are licensed through patented remote technology. Communicate with patients verbally and visually using specialized video conference technology. With Ophthalmic Technician support, analyze eye health and generate prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses remotely. Assist with credentialing and training as needed. Provide high-quality optometry services and maintain professionalism and patient safety. Qualifications
New York State license as Doctor of Optometry. Ability to practice tele-Optometry remotely from a home or remote workspace. Independent Contractor status with DigitalOptometrics. Willingness to work Saturdays as part of coverage. Multiple state licenses are a plus. Compensation & Employment Type
