Pay Range: $40.38 - $45.23 per hour.

Responsibilities
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you diagnose, treat, and manage communication and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages. Your work spans speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing goals.
Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized tools, clinical observations, and diagnostics to identify the nature and severity of communication challenges and formulate diagnoses.
Treatment Planning and Intervention: Develop individualized plans and design therapy sessions with evidence-based techniques to address speech production, language comprehension and expression, social communication, voice, and swallowing.
Therapeutic Interventions: Implement a range of therapies including articulation, language exercises, cognitive-communication tasks, voice therapy, fluency strategies, and management protocols with personalized feedback.
Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC): Assess need for AAC systems and collaborate with patients and families to implement solutions that enhance daily participation.
Dysphagia Management: Evaluate and treat swallowing disorders through clinical assessments, exercises, diet modifications, and rehabilitation techniques to prevent aspiration and improve nutrition.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
Current license/certification in the state of practice
