Acupuncturist

$50.00/hr - $60.00/hr . Position summary
As an Acupuncturist, you will be responsible for providing direct acupuncture care to patients. You will work in a team environment with chiropractors, physical therapists, and other clinical staff under the referral of the occupational medicine physician. Duties include preparation of treatments, administering proper needling techniques, and other related responsibilities. The acupuncture division of Agile Occupational Medicine focuses on quality care with high standards, emphasizing speed of recovery while keeping patients engaged in the process, aggressive scheduling and follow-up to get injured workers back to work and life as soon as possible. You will have access to state-of-the-art equipment and well-trained staff to assist with providing excellent care. We aim to recruit like-minded individuals who share our commitment to high-quality patient care. Specialties include orthopedics, sports medicine, manual therapy, ergonomics, and injury prevention.
Responsibilities
In conjunction with clinic physicians and providers, administer holistic and therapeutic treatment to patients from assessment to diagnosis and care recommendation. Meet with patients to discuss medical history, symptoms, and concerns, and conduct thorough assessments to determine appropriate acupuncture treatments. Create personalized treatment plans addressing specific needs, including determining the number and frequency of acupuncture sessions required. Administer acupuncture treatments such as needling, ensuring proper technique and compliance. Regularly evaluate the patient’s response to treatment and adjust the plan as necessary. Maintain detailed records of all treatments and progress. Educate patients about benefits and potential risks of acupuncture, address questions, and provide guidance on self-care between treatments. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to Coordinate care and ensure holistic patient care. Complete timely and accurate documentation. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Requirements
Strong knowledge of acupuncture techniques, theories, and principles. Graduate from an accredited acupuncturist program. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and explain treatment plans. Good observational skills to assess patient conditions and adjust treatment plans. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to develop effective treatment plans and address challenges. Ability to maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Time management and organizational skills to manage a caseload and maintain a schedule. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Benefits
