Licensed Mental Health Therapist (IIC) - Portuguese-Speaking Male Needed in Union County Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare has immediate openings for Part-time Licensed Therapists in Northern New Jersey to provide in-home and center-based weekly therapeutic services for youth with mental health disorders. Base pay range: $45.00/hr - $75.00/hr Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare provides a pay range; actual pay is based on skills and experience. Speak with your recruiter to learn more. Responsibilities
Provide individual in-home therapy, group therapy sessions, telehealth therapy, and outpatient center sessions. Perform bio-psycho-social assessments (training available or required). Provide coping and social skills training, anger management, and reduce risk behaviors such as self-injury or physical aggression. Improve youth and caretaker decision-making skills to manage in-home behavioral challenges. Collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team and professionals from other disciplines to support youth and family. Submit all required documentation within designated time frames (intake, treatment plan, DAP notes, etc.). Attend monthly meetings and submit mandatory clinical documentation. Must be able to complete or be willing to train for bio-psycho-social assessments. Qualifications
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields (e.g., LSW, LAC, LFT). Clinical Mental Health Trauma Counseling Training. Training or willingness to complete Crisis Intervention Training. Post-internship field experience working with youth with mental health disorders; clinical experience required. Experience creating treatment plans, treatment goals, progress notes, and initial assessments. Experience with CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and trauma-informed approaches. Knowledge of DSM-V for assessments and diagnoses. Availability for a minimum of 6-10 hours per week during after-school hours (12 noon–8 pm). Weekend flexibility is a plus. Experience providing positive behavior supports. Experience working with children ages 3-20; experience with I/DD is a plus. Valid driver’s license and a registered vehicle. Must pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting. Submit resume plus copies of master’s degree and license/certification. Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
