Estimated Weekly Salary: $1860 - $2000 per week
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nebraska or compact state)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required prior to first shift
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required prior to first shift
Minimum 1 year of recent bedside clinical experience in a Med/Surg or acute care setting (2 years preferred)
Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record
Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and discharge planning from admission
Communicate changes in patient status to the healthcare team to ensure continuity and patient safety
Supervise and provide direction to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees
Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to hospital safety policies and procedures
Contribute to a positive team environment and participate in unit team‑building activities
Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed after orientation
Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education
