Job Overview
Cardiovascular Technologist III at CHI St. Vincent is responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular disease in the cath lab setting. You will independently operate ancillary equipment in the lab, demonstrate scrubbing competencies for diagnostic and interventional procedures, apply radiation safety practices, and contribute to high-quality patient care. Every day you’ll work with imaging and interventional tools and ensure accurate patient positioning and imaging according to the imaging order. Responsibilities
Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the imaging order Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself Operate and maintain radiology/cardiology equipment, troubleshoot when needed, and participate in equipment calibration to avoid failures Job Requirements
Graduate from an approved CVT Program required Current Radiology License (ARRT) required Current Arkansas State License (MRAD:AR) Current American Heart Association ACLS and BLS certifications Four (4) years of current experience as a CRT with hands-on scrub experience within a Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Benefits and Pay
