Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Veterinary Technician or VTIT to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess the necessary skills to assist in providing high-quality veterinary services.
Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians in medical procedures and surgeries
Perform laboratory tests and analyze results
Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
Handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures
Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans
Maintain accurate medical records of patients
Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the veterinary clinic
Qualifications
Knowledge of dental terminology, animal anatomy, physiology, and care
Familiarity with laboratory procedures and aseptic techniques
Proficiency in veterinary terminology and animal catheterization
Experience in kennel operations is a plus
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
LVT/VTIT license is required
Cornerstone knowledge is preferred but always willing to train
