Overview
West Virginia University School of Medicine Eastern Division seeks a Pulmonology / Critical Care / Sleep Physician (ranks available: Assistant, Associate or Full Professor). The successful candidate will practice in Berkeley and Jefferson County, WV.
Responsibilities
Practice in the areas of pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine.
Provide excellent patient care and actively participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and eligibility for state medical license and DEA.
Completed internal medicine residency; completed pulmonary/critical care fellowship. Sleep fellowship preferred.
Board certified or board eligible in pulmonary/critical care and sleep medicine; all qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
Location and Setting Eastern Panhandle location is within about an hour from Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, MD. A rural atmosphere and a lower cost of living with easy accessibility to major cities.
