Overview Position:

Advance Practice Clinician (APC)

Starting Pay:

$49.23- $65.16/hour; NP/CNM with at least one year of prior experience in reproductive/sexual healthcare and/or with at least one year of PPRM experience.

You May Also Earn An Additional

$2.25 / hour, upon passing a conversational Spanish Fluency test (30 min).

Schedule:

Monday 9am – 7pm; Wednesday 8am – 6pm; Thursday 9am – 7pm; Friday 9am – 7pm.

We offer comprehensive training to provide you with the tools you will need to thrive at PPRM. To give you the best training possible in the shortest amount of time you may need to travel to Denver for 2-4 weeks during the first 1 to 2 months.

Our Ideal Candidate

NP/CNM/APN with 1+ years of prior experience

Enjoys working on a team and has strong communication skills with patients and colleagues

Completed an NP or CNM educational program and are certified as an NP or CNM by a national certification organization

Have a Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife license in the state of Colorado or are able to apply for one

Primary Areas Of Responsibility / Essential Functions

Secure and review the complete health history and record findings accurately

Perform physical examinations with emphasis on the reproductive system

Provide cancer screening testing, diagnosis of sexually transmitted infections, and perform other specialized procedures as indicated

Perform and order diagnostic studies as indicated and provide appropriate treatment and follow-up

Provide relevant education and collaborate with the health center team and other community agencies in providing comprehensive care

Provide birth control education and methods

Must see male clients

Work with health center staff on routine health center upkeep

Participate in abortion services (participation can include referrals, information, education, counseling, performing, scheduling, etc.)

Demonstrate excellent customer service to both internal and external customers by working towards a positive outcome

COVID-19 and Flu Protocols COVID-19: Vaccination against COVID-19 is not a condition of employment. Health center employees must either be vaccinated or wear a mask at all times beginning November 1. Proof must be uploaded prior to start date.

Flu: All employees working directly with patients must have the flu shot or wear a mask during patient or community contact or while in the health center from October 1 – April 30. Proof must be uploaded prior to start date.
