Family Therapist (MST)

What does a Family Therapist do? MST is an intensive family- and community-based treatment program that addresses all environments that impact high‑risk youth—homes and families, schools and teachers, neighborhoods and friends.
Responsibilities
Conducting assessments; creating and adhering to treatment plans
Collaborating with families, youth, and community agency staff
Participating in weekly team supervision and consultation as part of an MST and Devereux team
Providing periodic on‑call coverage
Position Details Pay Range:
$57,000 – $63,840 / annual (non‑licensed) and $60,000 – $67,260 / annual (licensed). Salary is based on relevant education and experience.
Sign‑on Bonus:
$2,000.
Schedule:
Monday‑Friday (flexible around client schedules; rotating on‑call coverage).

Qualifications Education:
Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or psychology required.
Experience:
1 year experience (post graduate degree) working in a clinical setting providing community‑based counseling to youth and/or families, or 1 year of MST experience required.
Specific experience in Cognitive‑Behavioral Therapy, Structural Family Therapy, Strategic Family Therapy and behaviorally‑based treatments preferred.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Other Requirements:
Valid FL State issued driver’s license.
Successfully pass pre‑employment medical screenings which include drug test and TB test.
