In this role, you’ll conduct thorough assessments, render diagnoses, and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each client's unique needs. You’ll also contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans, offer counseling in various formats, and play an integral role in helping clients build coping skills and achieve better mental wellness.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver individual, family, and group counseling sessions under the supervision of a licensed therapist or psychologist
Conduct comprehensive assessments, screenings, and intakes to identify client needs and diagnoses
Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans that evolve based on client progress
Facilitate evidence-based therapeutic techniques to improve clients’ mental health and quality of life
Collaborate with clinical teams, attend staffing meetings, and provide updates on treatment progress
Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to regulatory and agency standards
Provide crisis intervention services and support when needed
Assist with transitioning clients through different levels of care and document final correspondence
Offer supervision and consultation when qualified
Promote professional ethics and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues and community partners
Education, Experience, and Credential Qualifications
Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
Provisional licensure with the appropriate Missouri board (PLPC, LMSW, or PLMFT)
Must be able to attain full licensure by completing supervision and passing licensing exams
Willingness to become licensed in additional states, if required
Comfortable providing telehealth services (training provided)
Additional Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years old
Requires current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and auto insurance
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with diagnostic criteria for mental health and/or substance use disorders
Ability to manage caseloads and documentation effectively
Knowledge of court procedures and legal considerations in treatment settings
Must attain Behavioral Management training (e.g., CPI or Verbal De-escalation) based on program
Must complete Collaborative Service Goals training within 30 days of employment
Physical Requirements
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
Repetitive hand, finger, and arm movements for typing and writing
Sedentary role with occasional standing or walking
