Local Team Collaboration
At Trios Southridge Hospital, we are growing our strong and collaborative Emergency Medicine team size to 6+ EM physicians and 7.5+ EM Advanced Practice Providers. Our model consists of 27 hours per day of physician coverage and 22 hours per day of Advanced Practice provider coverage. Level 3 Trauma, acute care hospital with 21-bed ED, 6 fast track beds, and 14 ICU beds. Annual volume of 24,440 with 10.8% admission rate; 1.5% transfers. Specialty services include: Anesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Cardiac Catheterization, Cardiology, OB/GYN, Obstetrics, and Podiatry.
Qualifications
Board-certified/Board-eligible Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification. Additional certifications required: PALS, BLS, ACLS, ATLS.
Practice in the Heart of the Community
Scheduling
APPs work 11-hour shifts. Full-time is 120 hours per month.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to floor codes, including neonatal resuscitation. CT in-house, Ultrasound, and MRI on call at night. Bedside Ultrasound performed by all EM physicians.
