Position: Lab Technician Burlington is seeking a Lab Technician to work as part of the Burlington Labs R&D team. Laboratory technicians conduct investigations in biological, chemical, and physical areas. Responsibilities include sampling, testing, measuring, recording, and analyzing results to support scientific research. Technicians provide essential technical support to ensure the laboratory operates effectively, following proper procedures and safety guidelines. The role supports the development of modern, performance-driven fabrics for industries such as medical, military, and clean room environments. This position offers a foundation for future R&D opportunities within Burlington Labs.

Qualifications: Mandatory:
Strong organizational and planning skills
Attention to detail
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently with managerial coordination
Proficiency in math: percentages, decimals, pre-algebra
Ability to work in factory floor conditions (warm environment, noise)
Ability to read, understand, and follow written test procedures
Post-secondary education
Safety-minded with the ability to follow safety requirements
Preferred:
Associates or Bachelors degree, or 3 years textile lab experience
Exposure to manufacturing or laboratory environments
Ability to apply chemicals, dye fabrics, and assess color
Knowledge of college-level mathematics and chemistry
Experience with laboratory equipment maintenance and operation
