The position offered is a seasonal internship located in Big Sky, Montana. Interns will be part of the YC Culinary and Pastry Teams and gain exposure to diverse kitchens to help define their culinary path. Willingness to learn new techniques and work with new ingredients is important. Requirements
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food. Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables. Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients. Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist. Formal Cook training; ServSafe certification. Currently enrolled in a culinary and/or pastry education program Responsibilities
Ensure that each member and guest receive outstanding guest service in a guest friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every member and guest. Maintain outstanding service standards, solid product knowledge, and all other components of guest service. Empowered to guarantee total guest satisfaction. Display hospitality and professionalism to our guests at all times. Represent Yellowstone Club professionally with our members and guests. Ensure that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal and ethical manner. Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure environment for employees, members, and guests. Interns are expected to work 40+ hours; overtime may be available during busy weeks. Benefits
